On February 8, the largest grain terminal in the south region of Russia with the annual production capacities of 2.5 mln tonnes was fully commissioned in Tuapse commercial seaport.
According to Viktor Zubkov, the First Vice-Premier of Russia, the country steadily grows grain production volumes. Last year, Russia harvested 97 mln tonnes of grains, and in the nearest years, grain production will continue increasing. Thus, Russia can increase grain production on the domestic market and increase exports. Russia needs realization of the policy of grain shipment development. To date, the index of grain shipment capacities in the country totals 23 mln tonnes.
