To date, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy initiates to form the intervention fund at the level of 1.26 mln tonnes of grains, according to the corresponding decree of the Ministry Cabinet of Ukraine “About confirmation of the volumes of formation of the governmental intervention fund in 2010-2011 marketing period”, declared the press-cutting service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy on February 4.
The project plans to form the intervention fund from the following objects of the state price regulation: 1084 thsd tonnes of wheat and meslin (mixture of wheat and rye), 106 thsd tonnes of rye, 44 thsd tonnes of barley, 28 thsd tonnes of maize, 6 thsd tonnes of powdered milk, 18 thsd tonnes of dairy butter and 368 thsd tonnes of white sugar (sugar-beet).
