Agrarian sector of Kazakhstan stays low competitive

Agrarian sector of Kazakhstan continues staying rather low competitive despite all realized measures of the governmental support, declared Akylbek Kurishbaev, the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

According to him, plant growing sector had many problems last year. Farming standards of the country has low level of development, diversification process continues in too slow rates, which provides high influence of market factors on the sector of agriculture. In the main crop production regions of the country, grains became the monoculture, and yield years often aggravate the issue of distribution. Kazakhstan still stays rather dependent on oilseed imports.

But last year, Kazakhstan founded the excellent basis for growing of the food security of the country, mentioned the Minister. Due to improvement of technologies of crop cultivating, the possibility of production of large harvest volumes in Kazakhstan became very high.
