According to the forecasts of APK-Inform Agency, in the following season, import requirements of countries of the North Africa and the Middle East will grow by 20% compared to 2009/10 MY. The following countries will increase import volumes: Egypt (maize, wheat), Saudi Arabia (wheat), Algeria (wheat), Lybia (wheat) and other countries.
We invite you to take part in the International Grain Trading Conference, which traditionally takes place in Sharm El Sheikh on April 13-16 (Egypt, Hotel Hyatt Regency).
Organizers: Russian Grain Union and APK-Inform Agency.
In the current year, the conference will move closer in calendar to the beginning of the new grain season, thus, the conference participants will receive additional possibilities to:
- first receiving data concerning the new harvest in countries of the North America;
- opportune acknowledging of prospects of grain harvests in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria and Turkey (volumes and qualitative conditions);
- estimating of the most prospective markets and the main risks of the future 2010/11 MY (fall of demand in barley, maize, quality and other topics);
- acknowledging with new directions of governmental regulation of import grain markets in the Arabic countries.
Discussion of qualitative aspects of grain imports will become the target theme of the conference. Presentations of investment companies, lawyers, traders from countries of the region, governmental officials, flour milling companies (final consumers of grains) will be presented during the discussion.
