In 2009, prices for sold agricultural products in Kazakhstan decreased by 12.7%, declared the Agency of Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In December 2009, prices for products of plant growing industry sold by agricultural organizations became lower by 23% compared to December of the previous year. Wheat prices decreased by 29.1%, barley – 25.1%, maize – 4.3%, oats – 0.3%. At the same time, prices for rice increased by 16.4%, rye – 2.2%, buckwheat – 0.5%.
Last year, sunflower seed prices decreased by 12.7%.
