During January-October of 2009, all varieties of agricultural economies in Belarus increased output of agricultural products by 1.1% compared to the same period of the previous year, to the sum of 24.6 trn. BYR (8.85 bln USD), declared the National statistics committee (Belstat). According to the forecast, in 2009, the volumes of the general agricultural products output in Belarus will grow by 9.5%.
According to data of Belstat, during January-October of 2009, the production volumes of agricultural organizations and farming economies grew by 4.7% compared to January-August of 2008. At the same time, plant growing products output increased by 1.2%.
