On November 24, the National commodity exchange (Russia) provided the regular exchange auction within the bounds of the state purchasing interventions on the market of grains. The government purchased 102.6 thsd tonnes of grains at the general sum of 377.83 mln RUR, declared the media department of CJSC National commodity exchange.
For the first time from the beginning of the auction, the government purchased milling rye – 10.8 thsd tonnes.
During the auction period, the government purchased 701.19 thsd tonnes of grains from agricultural producers, including 578.61 thsd tonnes of 3-grade wheat and 111.78 thsd tonnes of 4-grade wheat, at the general sum of 2.86 bln RUR.
The average weighted price of 3-grade wheat, purchased to the intervention fund, totaled 4222.8 RUR/t, 4-grade wheat – 3585.3 RUR/t, rye – 2147.5 RUR/t.
