In the nearest future, Kalinigrad trading port (Russia) will revive shipment of potash fertilizers from Belarus, declared the media-department of the port.
In 2007, the port constructed the special terminal in order to accept the cargo in large-scale volumes. But due to the absence of contracts, the terminal has stayed unloaded for nearly one-year term. Nevertheless, the port managed to negotiate several contracts with Belarusian representatives. The port plans to process nearly 200 thsd tonnes of Belarusian potash fertilizers annually at the first stage of work.
