During nine months of 2009, the general output of agricultural products in all varieties of agrarian economies of Ukraine increased by 3.3%, including agricultural enterprises increased the output by 6.1%, economies of Ukrainian population – by 1.4%, declared the State Committee of Statistics on October 14.
During January-September of 2009, the general volumes of plant growing products output grew by 3.4% compared to the same period of 2008, agrarian enterprises increased the index by 4.1%, economies of the population – by 2.9%. Accelerated rates of the harvesting campaigns of sunflower and sugar-beet caused the growth.
Agrarian enterprises increased the general volumes of sold agricultural products of own actual production by 32% compared to the same period of 2008, including plant growing products – by 60%.
The average sale prices of Ukrainian agrarian products of agricultural enterprises decreased by 10% compared to the same period of 2008, including plant growing products – down 18%.
In September 2009, the average sale prices of agricultural products lowered by 0.1% compared to August, including plant growing products – by 1%.
