During January-June period of 2009, Kazakhstan faced the reduction of prices for foreign trading commodities, marked the Agency of Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In June 2009, the prices for export commodities decreased by 18% compared to December 2008, prices for import commodities - by 4.3%.
During the first half year of 2009, wheat, exported from the Republic of Kazakhstan, lowered in prices by 27.7%, cotton prices - by 11.2%, rice - 6.3%.
