This year, export potential of grains in Kazakhstan taking into account ending stocks will total 7-8 mln. tones, up 2 mln. tones a year ago, reported Akylbek Kurishbaev, the Minister of agriculture of the Republic, on July, 20 during the government phone conference.
Minister of agriculture of Kazakhstan leaves open the possibility of Kazakhstan grain exports onto Ukrainian market. As it was marked by the minister it is due to decreasing export potential of Ukrainian grains from 12 to 5.5 mln. tones. It may cause promotion ofresumption of Kazakhstan’s grain exports via the Black sea ports by the end of the year, marked A. Kurishbaev.
At the same time, the countries of Transcaucasia, Central Asia, Iran and Afghanistan will remain the primary line of exports.
