In the current year, Kazakhstan has opportunities to increase grain production by 15-20%, declared Arman Evniev, the Vice-Minister of Agriculture, on July 9.

In the terms of favorable summer vegetation and favorable harvesting campaign, and the growth of sowing areas by over 1.5 mln ha, the country will increase grain production by 15-20%, commented A.Evniev.
According to him, the level of precipitations became equal to the average annual indices, but several regions still suffer from the shortage of moisture.
