In 2009, Kazakhstan will increase grain harvest by nearly 10% compared to the level of 2008, due to high level of soil and weather conditions and the moisture reserves, declared Arman Evniev, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the country.
According to him, to date the cost of grain in Kazakhstan totals 200 USD/t EXW.
In 2008, Kazakhstan harvested 15.6 mln tons of grains in clean weight with excellent quality indices. At the same time, the harvest in bunker weight exceeded the level of 17.2 mln tons despite the droughts.
