During the last year, the export volumes of agricultural products in Kazakhstan reached the level of 2.9 bln USD, declared Akylbek Kurishbaev, the Minister of Agriculture, on January 14.
According to him, during 11 months of the last year, the export volumes of agricultural products and by-products increased by 57%, and the agrarian sector of economics reached the positive balances in export-import operations for the first time.
