The Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Akylbel Kurishbaev, informed that in 2008 Kazakhstan harvested 15.6 mln tones of grain in bunker weight.
At that indices of grain production of the last year correspond to the level of average indices of many years. Besides, qualitative parameters of grain of harvest-2008 were better than in the pervious years.
The Minister stressed that export potential of Kazakhstan will total about 6 mln tones.
