As of October 16, Kazakhstan harvested grains throughout 99.8% of planned area with the crop of 17.3 mln tonnes in bunker weight, declared Akulbek Kurishbaev, the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic.
The forecasted grain harvest totals nearly 17.5 mln tonnes, which allows providing export at the level of 5.5-6 mln tonnes.
According to Karim Masimov, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, the government guarantees presence of grain in the country in the following year, stability of bread prices and absence of grain export bans.
