Kazakhstan: grain productivity in the south of the country decreased by 50%

To date, grain crops harvesting campaign is being performed in South Kazakhstan. At that, grain productivity almost 50% less than in the previous year, reported Akulbek Kurishbaev, Minister of Agriculture.

To date, 180.000 ha were harvested or 17% from the area under grains. Minister also stated that they harvested 159.000 tonnes of grain and the crop capacity totaled 8.8 c/ha against 15.7 c/ha as compared to the previous year.
