Kazakhstan will supply wheat to Kyrgyzstan despite the export ban

Kazakhstan will fulfill all commitments as for wheat shipment to Kyrgyzstan, reported in the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Kyrgyzstan.

According to Boranbek Albergenov, Council of the Kazakh Ambassador in Kyrgyzstan, after the recent visit to Kazakhstan of Kurmanbek Bakiev, President of Kyrgyzstan, the countries reached an agreement about Kazakh supply of 50.000 tonnes of grain to Kyrgyzstan, despite the ban for wheat export introduced by Kazakhstan. Kyrgyzstan has already received 10.000 tonnes of grain.

The remaining 40.000 tonnes of wheat will be shipped in the nearest future, informed B. Albergenov.
