Kazakhstan: customs duties on imported agricultural machines would be reduced

According to the press-service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, in the beginning of February the resolution of the Government of Kazakhstan comes into efficiency, according to this resolution, the customs duties on imported agricultural machines are cancelled or reduced.

According to the press-service of the Ministry, the zero rates are foreseen for wide range of tillage machines (cultivators, ploughs, harrows). At that, 5% duties on loaders, trailers and reapers are cancelled. In addition, the zero rates for solid planting seeders are foreseen instead of previous 5% customs duty.

According to the press-service, the Kazakh market observes increase of deliveries of caterpillar tractors. The customs rate for their import was reduced from 15% to 5%.

The representatives of the Ministry noted that all innovations connected with customs duties concern machinery from far-abroad country. The machinery of the Customs Union members is duty free.
