Ukrainian traders got the first licenses for wheat export

Export companies got the first licenses for wheat export from Ukraine. Some traders informed to APK-Inform agency that as of the 13th of October Ministry of Economics has started issuing licenses according to the first agreements giving to the companies by Ministry of Agrarian Policy at the beginning of October.

Traders specified that only few companies got licenses.

It should be mentioned that during the previous two weeks Ukrainian ports did not ship any vessel with wheat because of absence of export licenses.

Licensing of export of milling wheat and meslin (wheat and rye mix) was introduced in Ukraine from the 3rd of October and till the end of 2006 by Cabinet of Ministers regulations No 1364 d. d. September, 28, 2006.

On October, 11, Cabinet of Ministers passed regulations on introduction of quotas for export of feed and milling grain (wheat, rye, barley and maize). Document text has not been published yet.
