One of the largest operators of Ukrainian grain and oilseeds market, Group "Grain trading company Allseeds Ukraine" intends to set in operation a universal freight terminal on transshipment of sunoil with planned production capacity 1.1 mln tonnes per year till the end of 2007.
As press-service of the company informed to APK-Inform on the 21st of August, total of investments would be $6.5 mln.
On the 18th of August Grain trading company Allseeds Ukraine made an agreement concerning parceling out and reservation of land in the harborage of Nikolaev sea port with 12 hectares area.
Terminal building is the part of 5-year plan of strategic development of this Group. Its main aim is increase in oilseeds processing and trade operations in the southern oblasts of Ukraine.
In addition to terminal construction this plan provides for building of oil-extracting plant on crushing of sunflower, rape and soy with capacity to 1 mln tonnes per year. Start-up will be staged: in 2009 and 2011. Assessed value of the project is $80 mln.
Also, Group is going to build biodiesel producing plant with capacity at 200.000 tonnes per year.
APK-Inform reference: The Group "Grain trading company Oilseeds Ukraine" was found in 2005 by Ukrainian holding "Grain trading company" and company "Allseeds S.A." (Switzerland). The main kind of activity of the Group is sunseeds purchasing, production and sale of sunoil and sunmeal - mainly for export.
Group consists of manufacturing enterprise "Kirovogradoilya" (Kirovograd oblast), 50% of integral property complex of oil-extracting plant "Extrol" (Nikolaev oblast) and also trade-purchasing, elevator, transport (expeditionary) enterprises and enterprises investing agriculture and fat-and-oil industry of Ukraine.
