Last season, vegetable oils market was quite complex both on a global scale and in particular in Ukraine. At that, the situation for the Ukrainian oil producers became more serious due to introduction of the ungrounded administrative regulation in this market segment. These measures led not only to the crisis in the Ukrainian fat-and-oil industry, but negatively influenced the situation on global market, that receive significantly less volumes of sun oil in the end of season. This noticeably strengthened pressure on the prices factor, that on top of that were at high level.
This year, professionals of fat-and-oil business will discuss situation in oilseeds market on the whole as well as situation in Black sea region, prospects of its further development, main aspects and tendencies of oilseeds market (quality of raw material, competition between food and nonfood sector as consumers of vegetable oils as well as influence of the state regulation).
