On the threshold of new season grain market participants face some questions: prospects of next harvest, what export of grain will be and forming of its prices.

To date Ukraine has exported 7 mln tonnes of grain. Analysts of APK-Inform suppose that till the end of the season export will total 8.9 mln tonnes. Potential volume of grain export is forecasted at 10 mln tonnes in 2007/08 MY.

Doubtless effect on export volumes was made by introduction of grain export quotas in the current season. In 2007/08 issue on Government effect on grain market will be more burning. Nowadays Government prepares draft regulations concerning state policy on grain market in 2007/08. They concern state price regulation, improvement of mechanism of grain availability declaring, intervention on domestic market and forming of state resource of grains.

Representatives of grain business can discuss prospects of future crop in Ukraine, Russia, and Kazakhstan, analyze current difficult situation on grain market of Ukraine and discuss its influence on grain trade within the bounds of the Sixth international conference "Grain Forum-2007".
