Informational Agency APK-Inform has been organizing international industry conferences since 2002. Over the past period there have been 10 conferences held in the three main areas of farm production - grain, oilseed industry and fruit & vegetable business.
These events have attracted high interest of companies, organizations, research institutions, leading consulting and informational agencies no only from Ukraine and CIS, but from the foreign countries as well. Organizational support to the conferences was provided by Ukraine's Ministry of Agrarian Policy, industry associations and unions from Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan. The conferences were sponsored by the largest companies and enterprises.
The interest to the mentioned events and their success was conditioned, first of all by timeliness and high importance of the issues discussed.
Responses of many participants have stated that this is not only acquisition of useful marketing information and exchange of experience, but establishment of new business links, replenishment of ideas for new opportunities and directions of business.
In February 2006 APK-Inform held the 1st International Grain Trading Summit "CIS and Arabic Countries" in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.
10-13 May, Kiev, "Ukrainian Grain Forum. Grain Industry 2005" - was unique by combining in its format the two most important aspects of grain industry - market and technological one. Such format of the event has allowed to meet most fully informational requirements of all segments of the grain market, ranging from traders to technologists. Ukrainian Grain Forum was attended by 240 professionals from 150 companies. The participants were coming from 16 countries, including Albania, Argentina, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, France, Switzerland, Sweden.
"Grain Industry" was attended by 120 people from 12 countries.
15-16 November, Kiev, 4th International Conference "Oilseed Industry 2005". The well considered selection of topics and high informational density of the event allowed its participants to get the freshest information about the current state of affairs of world oilseeds market and market of the CIS countries.
The conference was attended by over 300 people from 24 countries.
5-7 December, Kiev, 2nd International Conference & Exhibition "Fruit & vegetables of Ukraine 2005". An interest to the event was displayed by over 250 people from 11 countries. The participants were provided not only with the opportunity to meet each other and discuss the state of the market, but with exclusive information about fruit & vegetable market of Ukraine and its prospects.
